When we started Adam Leaves, we spent nearly two years building a fully local supply chain — sourcing every material we use, including this cotton, through trusted suppliers based right here in Mumbai. This is one of the founding principles behind how we make sustainable clothing: a shorter, more transparent supply chain we can see and verify ourselves, from raw material to finished garment, all within the same city where it's woven, finished, and tailored by hand.

Cotton bolls are picked once fully matured, then ginned to separate the fibre from the seed. The fibre is cleaned, carded to align the strands, and spun into yarn. Because our cotton is certified organic, every stage — from the field to the spinning mill — is verified free of synthetic chemical treatment.

Soft against the skin from the very first wear, cotton is the most forgiving fabric to live in — breathable, absorbent, and easy to care for. It holds colour well and works across seasons, layering easily under outerwear or worn alone in warmer months.

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certifies that a fabric is genuinely organic at every stage — from how the raw fibre is farmed, to the dyes and chemicals used in processing, to fair labour conditions in the factory. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 independently tests the finished fabric for hundreds of harmful substances, so you can be confident nothing toxic touches your skin. Together, they're two of the strictest checks in the textile industry — not marketing claims, but third-party verified standards.

Machine wash cold with like colours. Tumble dry low or line dry. Iron on medium heat if needed.
